The area is ideal for walking and cycling. Nearby routes include the Water Rail Way, connecting Lincoln to Boston with access just a mile from the site. The Spa Trail takes you on a stunning 3 mile traffic free journey along the mid section of the old Horncastle to Woodhall Junction Railway and part of the Horncastle canal. The trail forms part of the Viking Way, a long distance route from Hull to Harwich.

Next to the campsite is The Village Limits, an award winning traditional pub serving fresh Lincolnshire dishes.
Nearby you will enjoy villages such as Tattershall, the skyline of the village dominated by the turrets of the National Trust’s Tattershall Castle a perfect afternoon out.

In Lincolnshire you can’t forget our aviation heritage. ‘Bomber County’ has a number of aviation sites for you to explore, including RAF Conningsby the home of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the Dambusters Bar at the nearby Petwood Hotel. The Red Arrows can often be seen training in the big Lincolnshire skies.
The Cottage Museum in Woodhall Spa offers an interesting insight into the county and its history, and has helpful tourist information too.
